Eileen began her career in social work over 25 years ago when she started developing programs for underserved youth in Glen Cove after graduating from the SUNY Albany. While focusing on the needs of the underserved youth she obtained her Masters in Social Work from Adelphi University.
She received psychiatric training at Zucker Hillside Hospital, which is part of the Northwell, LIJ Health System. She also worked as a psychiatric social worker for North Shore University Hospital at Syosset.
Upon leaving Northwell she worked at the Nassau-Suffolk Mental Health Service (HIP Mental Health Center) in Woodbury. She provided outpatient treatment to adolescents and adults until the facility closed in 2008.
Eileen opened a private practice in Syosset in 2008, and devotes her time to improving the lives of her patients through therapy. In 2019 Eileen expanded her practice to Southold, NY, on the East End of Long Island.
